Freeze-dried skincare beads, made for your brand.
Develop private-label freeze-dried beads or balls through our manufacturing partners. Plan the formula, dry unit, protective pack and any separate activator as one finished skincare product.

AI-edited packaging concept based on supplied references. Formula, dry weight, presentation and sample availability are confirmed per product.
Beads, balls and a separate activator.
Choose a dry presentation and assess how it will be mixed and used. These branded visuals show possible appearances, not a ready-stock formula range. Colour does not identify an ingredient, efficacy or a validated sample.

Bead + activator presentation
The liquid, proportions, dissolution and use instructions need to be agreed for your formula.

Appearance references only. The actual formula, dry unit, packaging and available sample are confirmed separately.
A dry format. A complete product brief.
Freeze-drying, also called lyophilization, removes water from a prepared formulation to create a dry format. Beads and balls can be considered for a private-label skincare range where the formula and user experience support this presentation.
Our partners can manufacture skincare beads or balls. We coordinate your brief and proposed manufacturing scope; the production entity and responsibilities are confirmed before an order.
How we confirm manufacturing responsibilities ↗Define your dry product
Tell us your target market, cosmetic benefit, texture after mixing and formula starting point. We review a proposed formulation or formula transfer with the manufacturing partner. Ingredient choices, dry unit weight and shape need confirmation for your product.
Decide how it will be used
Choose whether to assess a separate liquid activator and a single-use presentation. Agree the liquid amount, mixing method, dissolution and skin feel together. The instructions and use period after mixing must follow the specific formula assessment.
Approve the protective pack
Review moisture protection, closure integrity, handling, labelling and cartons or kits. Agree stability and microbiological checks, production quantity and the documents required for your target market before approving the finished specification.
Prefer a freeze-dried powder vial?
Our manufacturing partners also provide filled powder-vial skincare OEM/ODM. A powder vial is a different presentation from a shaped bead or ball: review the dry amount, vial and closure, any separate activator and the finished kit for your product.
Explore lyophilized powder OEM/ODM ↗How beads relate to our BFS offering.
BFS remains our core skincare offering. Freeze-dried beads use a different manufacturing process; they are not dry products made inside a BFS line.
For a bead-and-activator set, a suitable liquid component may be assessed in a BFS ampoule. Compatibility, liquid amount, filling process and the two components’ combined use need their own review.

- Formula & dry unit
- Formula reference, dry weight, shape, mixing and cosmetic use instructions.
- Samples
- Availability, evaluation scope, preparation time, fees and shipping for the proposed product.
- Production quantity
- MOQ per formula and pack, plus any separate activator and packaging minimums.
- Product evidence
- Agreed stability, moisture protection and quality checks. Claims need evidence for the exact product.
There is no published standard MOQ or ready-stock sample list for this range. BFS and traditional ampoule minimums do not automatically apply.
Your freeze-dried bead questions.
Can Steridose Labs arrange freeze-dried skincare bead manufacturing?
Yes. Our manufacturing partners can make freeze-dried skincare beads or balls. Steridose Labs coordinates your product brief and the proposed formula, packaging and production scope. The manufacturing entity, responsibilities and order-specific documentation are confirmed before an order.
Are freeze-dried beads the same as BFS ampoules?
No. Freeze-drying removes water from a prepared formulation to produce a dry format. BFS forms, fills and seals a polymer container for a suitable liquid. A separate liquid activator may be evaluated in a BFS ampoule, but this does not mean the dry bead is manufactured by BFS.
What are the MOQ, sample cost and preparation time?
These are confirmed for the selected freeze-dried formula, dry unit, protective packaging and any separate activator. There is no published standard MOQ or ready-stock sample list for this range. BFS and traditional ampoule minimums do not automatically apply to freeze-dried beads.
Can a bead be supplied with a separate activator?
A bead-and-activator set can be evaluated for your brief. The liquid composition, amount, mixing method, dissolution, skin feel and instructions need to be agreed for that specific formula. Do not assume water or an existing serum is suitable, or that a mixed product can be stored for later use.
Does freeze-drying prove a skincare product is sterile or preservative-free?
No. Freeze-drying alone does not establish sterility, shelf life, preservation adequacy or a skincare benefit. Those statements require evidence for the exact formula, process, packaging and intended use. Discuss stability, moisture protection, microbiological quality and target-market requirements before approving claims.
Tell us what you want your customer to use.
Share the target market, product benefit, intended quantity and whether you want a separate activator. Add a non-confidential formula or packaging reference if you have one. We’ll clarify the development route and the sample and quotation details that need confirmation.
