Not every skincare product needs to be developed in a single-dose format.
In many cases, standard multi-use packaging remains the more practical route.
It is simpler, more familiar, and often easier to commercialize at scale.
But there are also situations where conventional packaging starts to work against the product itself.
That usually happens when formula sensitivity, contamination risk, dosage control, or category positioning become too important to treat as secondary concerns.
For those programs, single-dose OEM development is not a packaging trend.
